DESIGNER, ILLUSTRATOR, AND MOM WITH A PLAYLIST FOR EVERY OCCASION
Hi there! My name is Madison but all my pals call me Madi! Creating has always been in my DNA. I was born in Asheville, NC to a fashion textile designer and an audio engineer. I never really stood a chance at doing anything else!
I grew up painting every summer in the mountains with my Pop Pop on a daylily farm and coding my Myspace page to carefully curated playlists before I knew graphic design was a career. I took my first design class in high school & never looked back.
My professional path started at a local print shop fresh out of design school, where I first fell in love with layout, paper, and the tactile side of visual work before finding my way into the agency life. That foundation still shapes everything. A love of the handmade, but now with the knowledge to think in systems and build work that moves the needle.
Homebase is Greenville, NC, where I'm raising my daughter with my husband. I recharge my creative batteries by going to live shows, reading fantasy novels, and my rotation of craft projects that get finished on mom time.
